Great question! One caregiver per family pays entry as this space is designed for families to explore, create, and imagine together. Additionally, we have many make-and-take items that caregivers participate in creating.

Know Before You Go…

General Admission Policy

All guests must sign a release of liability waiver upon arrival.
No adults without children. Adults must be accompanied by a child.
No children without adults. All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, guardian, or responsible caregiver who is at least 16 years old at all times.

Supervision & Safety

All guests are required to wash their hands upon entering the Grand County Discovery Zone to help keep exhibits clean and reduce the spread of illness.
For safety and hygiene, please follow any posted rules specific to exhibits or play areas.
Children must remain within sight of their supervising adult at all times.
Running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior is not allowed.
Shoes must be worn at all times unless an exhibit area requires otherwise.

Respect for the Discovery Zone

Please treat all exhibits, materials, and Discovery Zone property with care.
Anyone who misuses, damages, or disrespects property may be asked to leave without a refund.
Help us keep the space clean by disposing of trash properly and reporting spills or broken items to staff.

Additional Guideliness

Photography is welcome, but please be respectful of others' privacy.
The Grand County Discovery Zone is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
Guests enter and participate at their own risk. The Grand County Discovery Zone is not liable for personal injury.

Private Bookings

We are excited to help you celebrate your special event! The Grand County Discovery Zone is available for private event rentals, with the following policies and details:

Event Capacity

Maximum of 42 people total, including both adults and children.

Reservation Details

Each reservation includes 2 hours of private access to the Discovery Zone.
During your reserved time, children can play, eat, and celebrate in a safe and fun environment.
Families are welcome to bring:
- Table decorations
- Dessert
- Outside food

Note: Hanging decorations are allowed but must not damage the facility. Families must bring their hanging materials. No holes, nails, or adhesives that leave residue may be used.

What's Included

Rental includes tables and chairs for 30 guests and your choice of color for tablecloths.

Food & Supplies

Families are welcome to bring in their food from home or a restaurant to enjoy during the event. Please note:

Grand County Discovery Zone does not provide any food or beverages.
We do not supply disposable items such as plates, napkins, utensils, cups, or serving ware.
Families must bring all necessary food-related supplies for their event.

Scheduling

Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance.
We will do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time, but availability is not guaranteed until the reservation is confirmed.

Cleanup

At the end of your event, families are responsible for:
- Cleaning up all decorations, food, and trash
- Disposing of any materials brought in
Grand County Discovery Zone will handle the return of rented tables and chairs to Party Chasers.
Any leftover trash, stains, or damage may result in an additional cleaning or repair fee.
